One of the most valuable ways Timebank members can engage with one another and their greater community is through events. By attending, providing resources for, or helping at many types of events members can practice building community towards a positive future! Some event types include;
Potluck/picnic, coffee date, craft studio, plant exchange, repair cafe, festival vending, and more.
Here are a few ways Timebank members exchange time through events:
Attendance: Members are rewarded Timecredits equal to their attendance at events. Attending is a way to practice Timebanking.
Just show up!
Resources: Members are rewarded Timecredits for bringing their own supplies, enough to share, and/or exchanging an item. Providing resources is a way to practice reciprocity.
Helping: Members are rewarded with timecredits equal to time spent providing a service during events. Helping allows members to practice being an asset to the community.
